It's quick and easy to move your number to Virgin Mobile. Once you've recieved your SIM, here's the info you need:

  • Transferring  your mobile number only takes two hours depending on the time of the day. You shouldn't lose service on the current SIM until the transfer is complete. For our Customer Care number and additional instructions, visit our porting FAQ page.

    Please ensure to fill in this detail accurately as failure to do may result in delays in transferring your number to Virgin Media.

  • After you click 'Send code by text now', we'll send a text to your current mobile phone with a 4 digit verification code to prove that you are in possesion of the number you want to switch. Just enter the code in the text field on the next screen.

    It's quick and easy to move your current number over to Virgin Mobile. All you need to do is follow the 3 steps once you have recieved your new Virgin Mobile SIM.

  • Don't worry if you have not received your code, you can simply request a new code by confirming your details again.

    It's so  quick and easy to move your current number over to Virgin Mobile. All you need to do is follow the 3 steps once you've recieved your new Virgin Mobile SIM.

    This process takes up to 2 hours as long as it is during porting hours.

     

    8am to 6pm  - Monday to Friday

    10am to 5pm - Saturday to Sunday

     

    If you request to port your number outside of these hours, you can still submit your request, but it will be handled the next morning. You should not lose service with the existing provider during this time.

     

    When your number is moved over to Virgin Media, you'll lose service on your old SIM. You should then put your new Virgin Mobile SIM into your unlocked phone and you should be good to go!
